me salio este error "Football manager 2011 is running dangerously low on memory. Please quit and free up some memory..." ya lo conoceran xq vi varios temas, pero ninguno encontro una respuesta que funcione, les cuento, tengo 2gb ram y 20.5 gb libre en disco, cuando ejecuto el juego solo tengo el juego y un programa llamado flashget que no ocupa casi memoria, en cuanto al fm lo jugue varios dias en varias partidas con muchas ligas y jugadores y nunca me paso esto ni nada parecido, pero ahora descargue la partida del reto de este mes con el shalke y cuando la cargo me sale este error, en carga de transacciones (adm tareas) me sale cerca de 800mb cuando abro el juego, muchas veces en otros juegos supera los 1.000 mb y puedo usar la pc tranquilamente, no se cual sera el problema, los cambios que hice en la pc fueron los estos, instale el parche 11.3, desinstale avg 9, limpie el registro y elimine archivos temporales, despues de esto quize jugar y me salio esto.. que hago. (solo con la partida del reto me pasa esto)

a mi me sale el mismo error pero con todo el juego, no me deja ni abrirlo. se me achico la pantalla del juego y me aparecio ese error. tengo 4gb de ram y venia jugando hace tiempo y de un momento al otro me salto ese erro. alguna ayuda por favor.

the computer had automatically only allocated 2.8gb for virtual memory so I increased it to the maximum available which is 4.219gb so by doing that, I certainly hope I wont be getting this error anytime soon. It was the 1st time it ever happened to me in CM/FM history and I started playing it when cm01/02 was out

I would advise you all that are having this problem to adjust the virtual memory settings as explained above and type in the maximum recommended which is usually a tiny bit OVER the amount of RAM you have. Use the same number in the minimum and maximum box. You may need to restart your computer for those new setting to take effect.

Also if you have a ram/memory hogging anti-virus program like AVG then uninstall it, totally remove it from your computer and install a low memory using anti-virus program like Avast!.

That should make enough difference for you not to worry about FM running dangerously low on memory ever again.

That is all I have done to fix my computer since last night. I have also edited a couple of numerical values in my registry editor to allow my computer/laptop to startup & shutdown quicker. Have also uninstalled programmes I do not use nor need anymore.

Hopefully by spending half a day doing all this, it will mean I wont have anymore LOW MEMORY issues. And most certainly little to no more of the dreaded (Not Responding) browser issues I seem to be getting dozens of times daily before today.

Es decir que ajustes la memoria virtual al valor recomendado y que sea igual el mínimo y el máximo. Yo hago eso desde hace varios Windows, así el archivo de paginación se fija en una determinada longitud y no anda creciendo y achicándose con la consiguiente fragmentación y pérdida de tiempo. El post dice que el valor sea UN POCO MAYOR que la cantidad de RAM de tu computadora. Pero eso es generalmente lo que Windows te sugiere. Yo tengo 2 Gb de RAM y Windows me sugiere una memoria virtual de 3096.
