En algunas acciones del juego me sale la siguiente ventana: XML PARSING ERROR! not well-fpormed (invalid token) at line 1 of views-v1-s10-id-1886155874.xml. alguien sabe a que se debe y como solucionarlo?

He desinstalado e instalado el juevo varias veces. Tambien lo he instalado por Steam y el error persiste. Asi que lo unico que me queda es limpiar windows y reinstalarlo todo, cosa que como entendereis me da mucho palo. A ver si alguien me puede ayudar.

Mi error no tiene nada que ver con el que he visto en otros post, en el que hablaban de un mensaje que acababa en default.xml y que borrando este archivo el juego ya ejecutaba bien.

Yo no tengo ese problema, yo puedo jugar, pero antes de iniciar cada partido me sale el error que os comentaba XML PARSING ERROR! not well-fpormed (invalid token) at line 1 of views-v1-s10-id-1886155874.xml pero no se me cuelga el juego, simplemente acepto el error y sigo jugando, pero lo tengo que hacer constantemente, justo antes del inicio de cada partido.

Prueba a cambiar la velocidad del partido y de la repeticion, despues de ese partido guarda la partida y sal del juego. Vuelve a entrar a ver si ya no te da el error.

A mi me ha pasado alguna vez y haciendo eso se me quitaba.

En la pagina de Sports Interactiva esta el foro, y hay varias soluciones a estos problemas, seguro que esta la respuesta al tuyo. Fijate de entrar al foro de SI y buscar tu error casi tal cual lo pusiste aca...

Por las dudas te tiro un hueso, esta en ingles pero antes que nada! Es del FM09, pero creo que se aplica al 10 tmb!

If you have a shortcut on your desktop you can do the following:

• Right-click on the FM shortcut.
  
• Choose "Properties" from the pop-up menu.
  
• In the "Target" field, add the --reset_preferences command line option after "fm.exe", so it should look like this:
  "C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\fm.exe" --reset_preferences
  
• Press OK and then try to run the game as normal, using the shortcut.
  
  
  If you don't have a shortcut you can make one and then perform the instructions on the shortcut you've made.
  • If you purchased and installed the game through Steam you should be able to find the fm.exe in the following directory:
    C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Football Manager 2009/
    
  • If you purchased and installed the game from a boxed DVD copy you should be able to find the fm.exe in the following directory:
    C:/Program Files/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2009/
    

  Other XML Errors

  First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders. Go to My Computer and at the top select 'Tools' the 'Folder Options'. The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

  Delete the following folder:

  XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\settings

  Vista: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\settings

  This may solve some issues regarding the XML Errors

  Gracias por la ayuda. Pero las carpetas del 2009 no son iguales que las del 2010. De todas formas he estado buscando alguna carpeta "settings" para borrar todos los .xml y tampoco la he encontrado.

Mira yo lo solucione de esta manera.

Primero tenes que ir a mi pc, despues anda a HERRAMIENTAS - OPCIONES DE CARPETA -VER y selecciona donde dice mostrar todos los archivos y carpetas ocultas.

Despues de hacer esto tenes que ir a la siguiente dirección: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010.

Una vez ahi borra todas las carpetas que aparecen (cache, logs, setting, temporary) , con esto a mi se me soluciono.

Fui a la carpeta que me dijiste C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010. Pero dentro de Application Data, no hay ninguna carpeta de Sports Interactive.
