Análisis táctico del Leeds de Viduka 2015/16

Si hay un equipo en Europa que está dando que hablar en estos primeros meses de competición ese es el Leeds de Viduka. Viduka llegó al Leeds como un “novato” y consiguió ascender al equipo tras una larguísima temporada, 46 jornadas+3 de playoff (2 partidos de semifinales y final a un partido). En total 49 partidos dónde pudimos ver diferentes registros de futbol, se empezó jugando un fútbol bastante defensivo, con organización defensiva y matando a la contra, y poco a poco fue evolucionando en un futbol de posesión y control, intentando ser otro de los pocos equipos británicos que intenta hacer el juego de posición.

Es ahora en la Premier League cuando más estamos pudiendo ver ese juego ofensivo que tanto gusta al espectador. ¡Y ojo! Presentamos éste artículo después de que el Manchester City de nuestro Ernesto Valverde le endosará un correctivo (4-1). Sin más alardes, procedo a mostraros lo que he podido ver sobre la “máquina de Mark”:

*Analizamos su formación más común que es el 1-2-3-2-1-2 aunque no dista mucho de su 2-3-3-2 que ha utilizado cuando no cuenta con un mediapunta y sitúa una línea de tres centrocampistas por delante del mediocentro.

Salida de balón:

Los dos centrales se abren y, si es necesario, el mediocentro defensivo (Markel, Austin o Zukanovic) baja a montar una línea de tres para conseguir sacar el balón limpio. Los dos centrocampistas buscan líneas de pase para superar primera línea de presión mientras que el mediapunta (nº16) busca recibir a la espalda de los mediocentros rivales. Los dos carrileros prácticamente se sitúan a la altura de los centrocampistas, alternando desmarques de ruptura con apoyos al pie pisando línea lateral. Finalmente los dos delanteros buscan hacer el campo largo con desmarques a la espalda, aunque Soriano también tiene tendencia a venir a recibir al pie y descargar de cara.

2 delanteros prácticamente en fuera de juego, carrileros entre sus laterales y extremos, y el mediapunta intentando encontrar línea de pase que supere rivales.

Ataque posicional:

Con 3 apoyos de emergencia siempre por detrás (2 centrales + mediocentro), los laterales juegan muy abiertos y muy arriba. El juego es relativamente simple, apoyos fáciles por detrás para llevar el balón de banda a banda y, si el contrario se abre mucho para llegar a interceptar, aprovechar para jugar por dentro con mediapunta o uno de los dos delanteros. En definitiva, el balón no suele estar mucho tiempo en el carril central. Al juntar tanta gente en el carril central, todos menos los carrileros, éstos quedan normalmente libres para recibir el balón por delante en carrera.

Todos en carril central excepto Hector que, en cuanto ve que el balón puede llegar a banda contraria, empieza a córrer para recibir el balón arriba.

Soriano viene a descargar de cara para que uno de los mediocentros abra al lateral derecho que ya va subiendo la banda.

Defensa posicional:

Defienden todos excepto los dos delanteros, es decir, el mediapunta le toca ponerse el mono de trabajo. Los dos delanteros combinan la recepción al pie para temporizar con el desmarque al espacio (normalmente cayendo a banda) del otro. La transición defensa-ataque suele ser de juego directo hacia el que rompe al espacio o descargando al otro punta para temporizar y pasar al ataque posicional.

Todos marcas al hombre, incluso el mediapunta Carles Gil que está marcando individualmente dentro del área. 2 puntas descolgados.

El alto número de efectivos en el remate, otro aspecto diferencial:

Cuando consiguen abrir a banda con el carrilero, éste no suele tardar en poner el centro. Byram y Hector combinan centros des de atrás con carreras hasta casi línea de fondo para centrar. Lo que realmente es diferente al 99% de equipos es el gran número de jugadores que llegan al remate. Suelen llegar todos excepto los dos centrales y el mediocentro (se quedan en vigilancia ofensiva) y uno de los dos centrocampistas que queda a la frontal del área para el rechace. Esto quiere decir que el otro carrilero también va al remate, siempre al segundo palo llegando por sorpresa. Así llegó el gol de Byram y así casi llega el de Hector en la foto que os mostramos.

Sharp abre rápido a carrilero diestro y prácticamente todos al remate. Atentos por dónde aparece el lateral de banda contraria.

@Lakasito: Hola compañero! Un placer volverte a ver por aquí, te contesto con un par de días de retraso pq estuve líado. Pues el comienzo ha sido muy bueno, sólo perdiendo contra los TOP + Southampton, el resto ganados. Soriano me tiene enamorado, tiene un don para estar allí dónde irá el rechace, es un seguro en los penaltys y se anticipa a todos los centros para rematar. Veremos si es un estado de forma pasajero o consigue mantener este ritm (muy difícil). Lo de Mignolet me dejó anodadado, cierto es que el gol en propia bien podía haber sido gol de Soriano, pero su gol des de dentro del área en el descuento tras un SAQUE DE BANDA que ni tan siquiera se sacó en largó... increíble! jaja

En fin, vamos a seguir disfrutando de éste equipo y a ver si conseguimos una posición cómoda para recuperar la economia y poder empezar a competir seriamente! ^^

League table

Liverpool lost the lead and came down two positions. Arsenal is the current lead and Manchester, with his full of victories (3/3) reach the 4th position.

Player stats

Great struggle to be the top goal scorer of the PL. Sygurdsson and Drinkwater highlight as the best key passers. Byram is the only defender in the assists list.

Player of the Month

Diego Costa is the first player of the season who repeats award. He has got it after five goals in three games.

Young Player of the Month

Redmond gets the award and Pasalic is the first non-English player that gets to be in this awards. For his part, Hugues has been in every podium since the first month.

Manager of the Month

With the same stats than Van Gaal, Mourinho gets the award. Chelsea went up three positions with their 9 points

You definitely launched a nice initiative there, I grew used at reading English story logs during my lurking time on FM Base... so this is a concept I can (and will) get behind ^^

You've done a terrific job so far, Sky Bet Championship is an incredibly tight tourney with lots of tough teams on it (Derby, Norwich, Blackburn, Birmingham, Notthingham, Brighton, Boro, Fulham, etc...) so it's truly amazing to see how you managed to get promoted on your very first try.

And look how things are turning out so far! From avoiding relegation at all costs to be in the very middle of the struggle to get into Europe next year! If you're lucky enough with both injuries and winning streaks, it could become a well deserved reality instead of just a wacky dream ^^

Also you've bought quite the nice reinforcements this year, I'm impressed specially with a couple of "acquaintances" of mine "Johnny" (which I brought home on one saved game with Espanyol) and Zukanovic (which I discovered (and recommended around here for months) during my cherished time as the Bosnian national squad's coach).

The only transfer I don't particularly get is Markel... I've trained him and he always was quite the massive letdown, I hope he turns out better for you than he did for me.

And here's the reason why I call Soriano "Johnny"

You're doing great, so keep it up ^^

.P.S.: As a villain, the relegation suffered by Aston Villa was quite the painful blow to my heart... Please, tell me they're walking the path to promotion... I want to see them where they truly belong x_X

@Zlatan: Hi mate! Thanks for your compliments, I think you will be able to do something similar (and better) in a future. The promotion was hard to get it cause there were very strong teams. We got the promotion by solid defense, two daggers in the sides and a very good striker.

I don't think we will be able to get an European place this season but if we get the continuity without suffering, it would be enough. A middle table position would give us enough money to build up a good squad for the next year.

Jonny... hahaha I'm in love with Jonny, amazing striker! And Zukanovic...I think you are the only person in the world who knew him! hahaha And I share your opinion about Markel, he has been my worst signing up to now.

About your Aston Villa, I tried to sign Benteke but they demanded me a huge amount of money and I rejected him. Nowadays they are in the middle of the Championship table and Benteke has only scored one goal. They lost Okore, Westwood, Weimann and Kozak.

Hola compañero,hace dias iba leyendo la historia pero sin tiempo para comentar,ahora ya me he puesto al dia con más detalle, va avanzando la cosa!y mejor de lo que me esperaba,luchando por Europa y parece que sin sufrir demasiado por mantener la categoría, aunque aún habrá que remar. Hace ya días que pasó, pero sorprendente lo de Mignolet! alguna vez he encajado goles de porteros y de defensas desde muy lejos, tipicos goles churros, pero nunca había visto que el portero marcase un gol y antes o después se marcase en propia puerta otro jajaja

@BrOxEtA: Hola figura! Se te echaba en falta. Te contesto tarde porque he estado de viaje estos días, lo siento. Comparto la opinión de que creemos que nos vamos a salvar sin sufrir demasiado aunque lo de luchar por Europa... yo casí díria que ni tan sólo luchar! Creo que vamos a deambular por la parte central de la tabla (que n está nada mal para nuestro primer año!) Y lo de Mignolet lo quisé destacar porque realmente era eso, muy muy raro! jaja Y encima nada de un córner, en un saque lateral sacado EN CORTO!! Brutal! En fin! A ver si reengancho! Un saludo!
