Premier League Monthly Report - March 2015/16

League table

The Premier League still fascinating and very tight. The top 4 teams have left Liverpool behind and now the race to the title seems only for Chelsea, City, United and Arsenal. Leicester also seems new Sky Bet Championship team and Leeds United continue surprising everyone because they are keeping his top 8 position.

Player stats

Eden Hazard is right now the most regular player, after he overtakes Welbeck. Arsenal seems have a bit of advantage to get the Premier League because is the only team with two players who have scored more than 20 goals each.

Player of the Month

Hazard has won the award finally. He played better than everyone and his season stats are absolutely fantastic. He has scored 11 goals and has given 16 assists. What more?

Young Player of the Month

Like Hazard, Luke Shaw has played his best football during March. He has been the first player to appear in the list of the best player and also win the another award like Young Player of the Month. And above, he also has won the award of the Best goal of the Month. Wonderful month for Luke!

Manager of the Month

Louis has broken the dream of Mourinho about get three consecutive awards but Louis has also broken the dream of Viduka or Hughton about be the first manager to get the award without manage a top team.

Ya había echado un ojo a tu historia y me parece interesante que lo manejes en inglés, obviamente le da ese toque aún más british a la historia, encima de que el gran Viduka está en el banquillo de uno de los equipos que más opiniones divididas genera en el UK, o lo amas, o lo odias. Qué envidia de la buena que vivas tan cerca de Leeds. Uno, de este lado del charco tiene que conformarse con ir de vez en cuando a los United States

Un paso en ascenso el que ha tenido este renovado Leeds United, con algunos refuerzos se consiguió el ascenso del Championship a la Premier. La segunda inglesa me parece de las divisiones más parejas, y tenemos un mérito añadido por lograr el ascenso después de ganar el play–off al Blackburn. Me dolió que le ganaras a mi querido Forest en la semifinal, pero ya tendrán revancha si es que consiguen el ascenso en esta temporada.

En este año, Viduka ha mantenido su gran trabajo, las expectativas de Cellino eran evitar el descenso y Mark ha colocado al equipo a las puertas de Europa. Aunque se ve difícil alcanzarlo, sea como sea, los objetivos se cumplieron de manera notoria. Puntos aparte también para Norwich y Derby, los dos equipos que ascendieron con nosotros también han evitado el descenso luchando con valor y alejándose de la zona casi permanentemente.

A ver qué sucede en el desenlace, como sea lo reitero, los aficionados y la directiva italiana del Leeds debe estar radiante por el trabajo realizado por el ídolo Viduka.

Hola. Qué gran temporada del Leeds. Hay que poner el punto de mira en el Tottenham, con un buen final de temporada se puede terminar en Europa.

La primera temporada ha sido espectacular, cómo ha ido evolucionando el equipo en una categoría tan dura y tan larga. Este año no se puede pedir más. Me encantan tus análisis tácticos, las tácticas asimétricas, los laterales largos... veo un gran trabajo ahí! Me he alegrado mucho de la victoria contra el City con gol de Carles Gil, sigo mucho al Valencia y me encanta ese jugador. ¿Ves posibilidades de conservarlo? ¿y a Stokes, estás contento con su rendimiento?

Creo que en toda la temporada no se ha visto un once con Kuzmanovic-Murphy-Cook-C.Gil-Soriano-Stokes. Es una combinación que me gustaría mucho ver. ¿Ha sido por tema de lesiones y tal o no te convence esa idea?

@Booker: No me lo pintes tanto como algo que se envidia si luego me dices que te escapas a USA de vez en cuando ! jajaja Tiene q ser unapasada, aunque no por el futbol jajaja En fin, al lío, el histórico Forest quedó apeado por el gran Mark sí...vamos a ver si consigue ese ansiado ascenso este año. Como digo más abajo, nuestras opciones de Europa pasan por conseguir la 7a plaza y rezar para que sea plaza europea... @Toesoul: Buenas campeón, veo que tras empatar con el Leeds te has pasado a ver que sacabas de éste Leeds... jajaja Hay algunos jugadores que si asciendes y ellos no lo hacen (a PL) podrás echarles ojo. Sobre lo de terminar en Europa...lo veo taaaaaaaaaaan difícil! Tenemos que quedar 7os y rezar para que sea plaza Europa League. Veo imposible llegar a la 6a plaza, aunque no por ello dejaremos de competir!

Gracias por los comentarios sobre la historia, la verdad es que está segunda temporada me tiene tan enganchado (al juego) que he dejado un poco de banda esos análisis, aunque volverán seguro y más si llega algun partido decisivo!

Sobre Carles Gil la verdad es que unas publicaciones más atrás había comentado que no me terminaba de convencer pero poco a poco me está haciendo dudar. Es el único jugador de 3/4 que genera algo entre línias, el resto o son centrocampistas (con más o menos llegada) o son delanteros/extremos.

Y finalmente sobre esa observación, ahora que lo dices creo que llevas toda la razón. No han coincidido porqué cuando juego con mediocentro defensivo es porque cuento con R.Austin (un crack!) y cuando juego con línia de 3 centrocampistas entonces ya no cabe Carles Gil+2DC. Pero la verdad es que Kuzma puede jugar también de mediocentro y, despues de tu consejo, voy a pensar si ponerlo en algun partido como local. Poniendo toda la carne en el asador ^^

Premier League Monthly Report - April 2015/16

League table

The tightest Premier League of the history. Only one matchday to conclude the Premier League 2015/16 and it still has not decided. Even five teams can win the league. Only Liverpool have taken down since the last month. By the way, there will not be direct fixtures in the last matchday.

Player stats

Nowadays we can’t say who will be the top goal scorer or the most regular player. Hazard will be the best assistant and Sygurdsson the best key passer. We will wait until the end of the season to know the rest of awards.

Player of the Month

Quite surprises in this individual awards of April. The young Harry Kane win after has scored one goal per match. Hernández and Salah follow him as second and third classified. They weren’t habitual here. Congratulations for them!

Young Player of the Month

More surprises, Jorge Meré has been converted into first Spanish player to win this award in 2015/16’s season. He is the third foreign winner of the season after Laporte and Pasalic. Cook, from Leeds, was really close to get the award.

Manager of the Month

After win his five April matches, Pochettino got his second award of the season. Thanks to these results, his Tottenham has the chance to win the PL despite it will be really difficult.

The Premier League season came to an end! A great season for Leeds United, I didn't think that it was possible to finish in the European Zone but you did it. Without doubt, Leeds was the best surprise in the english football this season.

A disadvantage of 10 points with 6th, Liverpool, is an important difference but we only have to see the names of this teams, the best teams in England and very importants in European Football so, in spite of the disadvantage, it's a wonderful position for Leeds.

Maybe for next season we need to improve in the offensive and we've got to learn to concede fewer goals but, for a team recently promoted to Premier League, finish in 7th position is a fantastic season and also with many possibilities to improve in the future.
